Williams Scotsman Completes Modular Building Reconstruction Effort in Louisiana

Company Responds with Acute Care Hospital Rebuilding After Hurricane Rita

BALTIMORE - March 11, 2008 - Williams Scotsman announced today the completion of approximately 29,000 square feet of permanent modular space for the reconstruction of South Cameron Memorial Hospital. Working in collaboration with Don M. Barron Contractor, Inc., Williams Scotsman provided South Cameron with complete site preparation services as well as 38 modular components that comprise the new acute care facility. The multi-million dollar project also includes 12,000 square feet of emergency facilities, 25 inpatient beds and medical services space.

Before its destruction during Hurricane Rita, the hospital, which is managed by Pacer Health Management Corp., was the sole source of healthcare services for the citizens of Cameron Parish.

Official groundbreaking for the new facility took place on December 20, 2006, with President Bush, Sr. and actor George Clooney in attendance. South Cameron Parish views the hospital rebuilding plans as part of the foundation for long-term renewal for the community. The grand reopening ceremony for the hospital will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 2 pm and President Bush, Sr. and Barbara Bush will be in attendance.

"We're delighted to have rebuilt the only hospital serving South Cameron," said Rita Simon, administrator of South Cameron Memorial Hospital. "Being able to provide residents with essential medical services and to give our local healthcare providers a place to work are essential steps to continuing recovery for the community. Collaborating with Williams Scotsman by incorporating modular construction has helped us reach that goal more quickly than traditional building methods would have."

This project marks Williams Scotsman's continued commitment to providing the healthcare community with space solutions that incorporate speed and innovation in critical care service delivery.

"We are pleased to contribute to the recovery efforts within South Cameron Parish. The flexibility of the modular approach in building this hospital not only provides restored medical care access today, but also allows for upgrades and expansion to meet the community's future health care needs," said Gerry Holthaus, chief executive officer of Williams Scotsman.

Williams Scotsman's experience in the design, construction and installation of healthcare facilities spans a broad variety of applications from dialysis facilities to diagnostic imaging centers and clinical buildings. The flexibility of modular space proves particularly well-suited to the healthcare community, enabling accelerated timelines for new construction, renovations and expansion of healthcare service networks.
